Job Description

We are looking for a Content Manager/Writer who has a passion for digital marketing and an ability to stay on top of the latest trends. He/she will be responsible for creating, and improving content across our business verticals.

The role will include writing articles, improving social media interaction, driving engagement, creating content calendars, ideating on creative concepts and campaigns for social media, managing a blog, raising brand awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices.

An ideal candidate will take initiative, have creative skills and attention to detail, as well as a strong research capability.

The Content Manager/Writer will work closely with the rest of the team to achieve overall digital marketing goals.


Creating original & creative content that drives traffic to a website and social media platforms:

  • Create a blog and social media strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
  • Write research-based articles that are original and engaging
  • Promote the businesss brand identity via trendy, authentic and creative content
  • Create content for webinars or PowerPoint presentations
  • Create content for other marketing collateral as and when needed
  • Helping with creating chat scripts for live chat software and auditing chats
  • Research Skills- the candidate must be able to understand and analyse white papers and reports, to create summarisations or extract information, for social media, blogs, creatives, and newsletters.
  • Write content for web pages, ebooks, and video scripts as and when required
  • Assist with creating content for business pitches as and when required
  • Provide concepts and content for infographics, and newsletters
Managing online reputation:
  • Create and publish engaging content
  • Work on weekly/monthly social media editorial calendars
  • Manage online interactions on social media platforms
  • Promote the brands products and services on various social media channels
  • Knowledge of successful SEO strategies and WordPress/Publishing platforms is an added advantage:
  • Apply latest techniques & tactics to ensure content is well received by search engines and readers
  • Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to engage with new audiences
  • Conduct keyword research according to the latest keyword research strategies
  • Publish blog articles on WordPress/Publishing platforms
  • Familiarity with the YOAST plugin for SEO would be preferred
  • Candidate should have the willingness to learn above-mentioned skills (in case they are not familiar with any of them)
Creative concepts and campaigns:
  • Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns across platforms
  • Create original, witty, on-trend concepts for social media creatives and campaigns
  • Create professional, research-based, on-brand creatives for social media and campaigns
  • Work with the design team to ensure creatives are based on the brief and lead to online engagement
  • Generating interesting, unique, and valuable content ideas based on client/brand briefs:
  • Edit/proofread and quality check content
  • Develop creative concepts for digital media, including social media creatives (This includes copy for creatives, infographics, and captions for social media)
  • Develop authentic social media campaigns
  • Tie-in editorial calendars with trending digital initiatives and campaigns
Analytics & Measurement:
  • Report on key metrics for social media and the blog and other predetermined KPIs on a regular basis
  • Measure the results of digital marketing activity to inform future marketing campaigns (Social media insights/ Google Analytics)
  • Knowledge of which platform is suited to what kinds of content
General Responsibilities:
  • Proactively stay updated with digital marketing trends and news
  • Meet daily/weekly/monthly and quarterly deadlines
  • Create and publish content independently
  • Collaborate with design, digital, search and other teams to develop compelling, often unexpected, content plans
  • Share creative ideas and suggest trending and recent topics
  • The candidate needs to have an eye for detail and edit content to perfection
  • Establish strong relationships across departments and develop an understanding of client needs
